What actions are your region taking to ensure its workforce has the skills for the future?
Regions have a pressing need to build workforces that have the knowledge and skills they need to respond to the rapidly changing employment requirement of the knowledge and digital economies. SEGRA will be shining the spotlight on locally led lifelong learning projects at this year’s conference.
The SEGRA National Steering Committee is inviting papers from regions who have developed unique programs that develop integrated education and training strategies that engage their communities in lifelong learning. Engagement strategies for low skilled workers and long-term unemployed are of particular interest.
The SEGRA Conference, Australia’s premier regional conference will be held in Barooga NSW 20-22 August 2019. To find out more please visit the call for papers page.
