Conversation 12 Webinar, The Impacts on Tourism and COVID-19 - A Conversation for Regional Australia about COVID-19
SEGRA has set up a series of webinars called “A Conversation for Regional Australia about COVID-19” as a forum for those who live, work and invest in regional, rural and remote Australia. The goal of the webinars is to enable regions to get a greater understanding of the issues and pool their ideas and initiatives to ride out the storm. Impacts will be felt across health, the broader economy, education, business, lifestyle and our social fabric.
The theme of the facilitated panel discussion in this webinar is around insights and ideas regarding the impact of COVID-19 on the future of the Tourism Industry. Our goal is to provide a forward-looking discussion on how best to shape a “thriving” post COVID-19 Regional Australia. The guest speakers are Cr Bob Manning, Mayor of Cairns Regional Council and Mark Olsen, Chief Executive Office of Tourism Tropical North Queensland.
